Willow Brôcke BSW, M.Ed, RSW

Willow Brocke holds a Bachelors degree (with honours) in Social Work and a Master of Educational Psychology from the University of Victoria.  She is a registered social worker in the Province of Alberta and has been a therapist, consultant, researcher, writer, presenter and leader in multiple organizations in Western Canada over the past 20 years. Currently, Willow teaches teamwork skills in multiple faculties at the University of Calgary. She is a former provincial Director in the Quality and Healthcare Improvement portfolio of Alberta Health Services. 

Willow has conducted award-winning research in use of effective engagement to build capacity in organizations and her work has been published and presented in Canada, England, USA, France, Germany and China. Most recently, through the support of a research grant from the Arnold Gold Foundation for Humanitarianism in Health Care, Willow and her colleagues at Alberta Health Services and the University of Calgary Medical School, completed a meta-narrative analysis exploring the use of storytelling to impact change in organizations, which was published in the American Journal of Hospital Administration. 


Adjunct Faculty at Haskayne School of Business

Willow Brôcke serves as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business, teaching Team Development and Advanced Leadership in the Executive MBA program.
